One day Mike Chasan (co-Inventor/Founder) was on the way to a meeting and as we all know, Murphy’s Law, he spilt the coffee down his shirt. In a rush he had to stop and buy a new shirt. As he was driving home from the meeting, he thought where could I buy a something to protect my clothes? To his dismay, all he could find was plastic bibs, with a tie around the neck.

From this spilled coffee incident Napkleen™ was born. Frank Friedland and Mike set out to develop a stick on clothing protector with no ties.

After three years of trial and error, machinery was designed to produce the first and only patented stick on bibs and clothing protectors.
